The Lois Ambitho Foundation (LAF) is a Kenyan community-based organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable groups, particularly elderly individuals who are neglected, abandoned, sick, or living in isolation. Inspired by the personal experience of its founder, a former UK-based nurse practitioner, in caring for her late mother, Lois Ambitho, the foundation was established to restore dignity, compassionate care, and meaningful companionship to elderly persons in need. The foundation’s primary goal is to establish a permanent home where elderly individuals can access essential services and live with dignity, comfort, and security in their later years.
